A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the switchboard room on the port side of 2 deck between 11½ and 14 stations. The photographer is looking to port from the doorway showing the rows of switchgear on either side of the room. On the ship's side are two 450 volts AC cabinets with two smaller 400 volts DC cabinets below them. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972. A vertical format negative.
