A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the weapons workshop on the starboard side of 3 deck between 16 and 19 stations. The photographer is looking forward and slightly to port showing a workbench with cupboards under on the right. A Paramo No. 43 vice is on the bench. On the left are nests of metal drawers with shelves above. On the forward bulkhead 16 are a fire extinguisher and an electric fire. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972. A vertical format negative.
