Rhyl (1959). In the C.P.Os mess on 2 deck.

A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the C.P.Os mess on the starboard side of 2 deck between 61½ and 67 stations. The photographer is looking to port from the starboard side at the forward end of the mess. Kit lockers and a waste bin are on the left and kit lockers, suitcase lockers and a greatcoat cupboard are on the right. To the left of the sliding doorway are an automatic emergency lantern and a fire extinguisher. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972. A vertical format negative.
