A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the mortar metadyne room on 3 deck between 65 and 67 stations. The photographer is looking forward and to port showing the metadyne generator with a starter panel and a telephone socket box above it and the door to the right of them. A dismantled fuse unit is on top of the generator. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972. A vertical format negative.
