A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the passageway on 2 deck between stations 16 and 20½ looking forward to the watertight door at 16 station. A watertight hatch leading down to 3 deck is in the right foreground and beyond it on the starboard bulkhead is a smoke mask cabinet with air hoses wound round it. To the right of the watertight door at 16 station is an air filter unit. On the left between fuse and control panels is the door to the kit locker compartment. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972.
