A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the passageway on 2 deck between stations 37 and 39½ looking aft and to starboard into the wardroom vestibule. The door to the wardroom pantry is on the left. The watertight hatch down to 3 deck and the stairs up to 1 deck are in the centre. A telephone and a fire hose connection point are on the aft bulkhead. The watertight door on the right is open.The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972.
