A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the passageway on 2 deck between stations 49 and 61 looking aft. On the left are the sliding doors to the senior rates dining hall and the canteen. Drums of chemical foam liquid and a smoke mask cabinet with air hoses wrapped round it are between the canteen door and the door to the junior rates dining hall. Various fuse boxes and control panels are on the port bulkhead. A group of men are working in the passageway in the distance. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972. A vertical format negative.
