A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the passageway on 2 deck between stations 49 and 54 looking forward. On the right are the sliding doors to the canteen and the senior rates dining hall. A canvas covered cable storage, an automatic emergency lantern and various fuse boxes and control panels are on the port bulkhead. The stairs up to 1 deck are next to the partly open watertight door at 49 station. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972. A vertical format negative.
