A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the passageway on 2 deck between stations 25 and 31 looking forward. On the left is a watertight hatch leading down to 3 deck and beyond it is a deck mounted diesel generator. On the right is the sliding door to the A/S stabiliser and plane converter compartment with a fire extinguisher next to it and stairs leasding up to 1 deck. The gun mounting bulkhead is at the end of the passageway. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972. A vertical format negative.
