A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in an unidentified electronics compartment and negatives numbers PM3104/25, PM3104/26, PM3104/27, PM3105/28 and PM3105/29 were all taken in the same compartment. Eleven electrical units are mounted on a steel framework. Seven of them are identical and are marked 'marker generator cabinet', two are marked 'cabinet marker generators' and the final two in the centre of the lower shelf are the same as each other but the labels cannot be discerned.
