A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the bakery on the port side of 5 deck between 20 and 30 stations. He is looking to port and slightly aft showing a wash basin on the right with a soap dispenser on the pillar next to it. A stainless steel sink unit and splashback with shelves under is in the centre and a belt driven electric pump with a drain well is on the left.
