A 35 mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) alongside 6 and 7 wharves in the north yard of Devonport Dockyard in early July 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is above the port flight (1) deck walkway looking aft from 186 station. Three lockers and three cable reels are in the walkway. A GWS22 Seacat missile system is on the right. The submarine depot ship Forth (1938) is alongside 8 wharf in the background. A vertical format negative.
