A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the diesel generator compartment between 61 and 65½ stations on 1 deck. The photographer is looking forward from the aft end of the starboard side of the compartment showing the Paxman six cylinder diesel engine and 750 KW generator on the right. The gas turbine uptake bulkhead is on the left and a fire extinguisher is mounted on it. A vertical format negative.
