A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the sonar control room between 41 and 43 stations on the starboard side of 1 deck. The photographer is looking into the aft starboard corner from the port forward corner showing seating for five operators, three on the starboard side and two on the aft bulkhead. In the centre on a raised platform is the chair of the sonar control officer. On the right is the door into the operations room with a clock above it.
