A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the engineers and ordnance workshop between 61½ and 64 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck. The photographer is looking aft from the port forward end of the compartment. An automatic emergency lantern is next to the compartment's door on the right. A work bench fitted with a vice and with shelves and cupboards above is on the aft bulkhead. A large multi-purpose lathe, drill and grinder is on the left in the centre of the workshop. A vertical format negative.
