A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the crew's galley between 45 and 50 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck. The photographer is looking to port and very slightly aft at the aft end of the galley into the servery. The serving hatch roller shutters are closed. On the extreme left is an automatic emergency lantern and in the foreground is a shelf unit for pan storage and it has a rotary tin opener fixed to the near end. On the right are a deep fryer and a stack of four warming cupboards. A vertical format negative.
