A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty, where this photograph was taken. The photographer is on the starboard side of 02 deck at 50 station looking aft. The GWS 21 seacat launcher and its director are on the left with the 27 feet motor whaler between them. Astern of the Mohawk is the Type 81 frigate Ashanti (1959). Motor cars are parked on South Railway Jetty and Old Portsmouth is in the distance. A vertical format negative.
