On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the engineer's spare gear store between 6 and 8 stations on 3 deck looking to port from the middle of the store at 6½ station showing fixed shelving behind wire mesh screens against the forward bulkhead. On the left is a metal cupboard with mesh doors and a galvanized shelf is against the ship's side. A large lagged pipe is near the ship's side. A vertical format negative.
