On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the GDS & ASP (gunnery direction system & automatic surface plot) amplifier compartment between 30 and 31¼ stations on the port side of 1 deck looking to port showing a wooden bench, two JDA power display units, two display power pack units and a meter unit design 17 against the forward bulkhead on the right. Against the aft bulkhead are a co-ordinate converter with a wave monitor unit above it, a marker generator cabinet and an amplifier assembly. A vertical format negative.
