On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the operations room between 31¼ and 35½ stations on 1 deck looking aft from to port of the centreline at 33 station showing a wooden bench to the left of the S.O's. bathroom door. A decometer display unit, a speaking tube and two adjustable lamps are above the bench. A bookshelf, an electric fire, and a Sperry unit are against the aft bulkhead. On the left are the side of a visual display unit and a noticeboard above a fuse panel.
