On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the operations room between 31¼ and 35½ stations on 1 deck looking to port and forward from to port of the centreline at 33½ station showing the target indicating console in the foreground. Against the port side of the ship are a display power unit, the target indicating unit Mk. 5 cabinet B and the target indicating unit Mk. 5 cabinet C. Suspended under the deckhead is the A.A. co-ordinated plot and tote stateboard. Against the forward bulkhead are two gun direction junction boxes, a fire control junction box and a telephones junction box.
