On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in officers' cabin number 16 between 39 and 40½ stations on the port side of 3 deck looking forward and to starboard from the doorway showing a tubular steel armchair on the deck on the left. A small bookshelf and a towel rail are against the forward bulkhead. A disappearing wash basin, a toiletries cabinet, an high level shelf unit and a wardrobe are against the starboard bulkhead.
