On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, between 24 and 27 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to starboard and slightly forward from 26½ station showing the wire mesh doors of the engineer's regulating office and the bread locker on the right. Against the 4.5 inch gun bay are a telephone, a can, a portable transformer with cable, a contact breaker panel, a fuse panel, and a transformer with control circuit exchange units above it. A vertical format negative.
