On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is on the starboard side of the 4.5 inch gun bay between 21½ and 23½ stations on 2 deck looking forward showing the ammunition hoist pump and motor arrangements. The feed tank is above the pump and in the port forward corner is a tank labelled as M.L.O. tank on Admiralty plan no. 899643/1 (NMM plan no. NPD1588). A vertical format negative.
