On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the boiler room between 41 and 49 stations on 3 - 4 deck looking forward from the port side of the middle platform at 46 station showing pipework and valves against the ship's side and the grating running between the port boiler and the ship's side. In the upper right of the picture is the port boiler's rectangular section air downtake which is lagged. A vertical format negative which has some scratching in the centre of it.
