The Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959). In the provision issue room between 45¼ and 47 stations on the port side of 2 deck.

On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the provision issue room between 45¼ and 47 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking to port and aft from the doorway showing a full height shelf rack on the extreme left. Six cereal bins and a three drawer unit have a stainless steel worktop on which is a range of measuring jugs of differing sizes. A shelf above this worktop contains two jars of Pumphrey's orange curd, a container of Vencatachellum curry and a large number of small boxes labelled 'Mint'. A tubular steel chair and a desk are in the corner with a ledger rack above. A set of balance scales is on the deck and a domestic refrigerator is in the right foreground. A vertical format negative.
