The photographer is in the seamen's mess between 27 and 31 stations on 3 deck looking forward and to starboard from the port side of the mess showing Nos. 1 and 2 furnace fuel oil gauges, two fuel oil steam heating gauges, two fuse panels, a telephone, an air conditioning unit, six kit lockers, a bread locker, two suitcase lockers, two dirty boot lockers and a hammock stowage bin against the forward bulkhead.
