On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the lobby between 38¼ and 39¾ stations abaft the electronics warfare office on 1 deck looking to port showing the stairs leading down to 2 deck in the foreground. A fire main, a fire hose basket, an emergency connection box, a fuse panel and a fan starter are against the aft bulkhead. The sliding door to the senior officer's day cabin is in the forward bulkhead and the door to his pantry is in the port bulkhead. The bow of the 25 feet motor cutter can be seen outside the lobby.
