On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the asdic hull outfit 20 compartment between 15½ and 19 stations on 4 deck looking aft showing control and fuse panels and a telephone against the port bulkhead. The raise/lower motor is abaft the asdic scanner head. A starter panel and a blank cover are against the starboard bulkhead. The H.O. 20 compartment contains the Type 177 asdic.
