On board the guided missile destroyer HMS Kent (1961) alongside the Harland & Wolff Ltd fitting out berth in the Musgrave Channel, Belfast. The photographer is in the shipwright's workshop on the port side of 01 deck looking to the centreline showing a wooden workbench with cupboards and drawers under and fitted with two carpenter's vices against the forward bulkhead. Above this bench is a storage rack for large timbers. Plywood sheets are stored between a wooden bench and a steel bench fitted with a large vice against the starboard bulkhead. Above the steel bench is a nest of pigeon holes. A vertical format negative.
