On board the guided missile destroyer HMS Kent (1961) alongside the Harland & Wolff Ltd fitting out berth in the Musgrave Channel, Belfast. The photographer is in the C.P.Os' and P.Os' dining hall on 1 deck looking aft and to port from the starboard forward corner showing three tables and sixteen tubular steel chairs with floral pattern covers. A fire extinguisher is on the left. A four slice toaster, two loudspeakers, a cupboard and a shelf with three mirrors over it are against the aft bulkhead with a cutlery, plate and tray cupboard next to it.
