On board the guided missile destroyer HMS Kent (1961) alongside the Harland & Wolff Ltd fitting out berth in the Musgrave Channel, Belfast. The photographer is on the port side at the top of the foremast looking down and aft showing the forefunnel, base of the mainmast and the port side boat stowage. Berthed astern of the Kent (1961) is the cargo liner Port Melbourne (1955) undergoing a lengthy refit. A vertical format negative.
