On board the guided missile destroyer HMS Kent (1961) alongside the Harland & Wolff Ltd fitting out berth in the Musgrave Channel, Belfast. The photographer is looking forward and slightly to port from the starboard side of the helicopter flight deck at 166 station showing the type 901 seaslug missile director radar on the director well abaft the hangar and the covered type 904 director for the starboard seacat missile launcher. A type 965 radar aerial is atop the mainmast. The ship is being stored with kegs of beer and cartons of cans of Guinness and Forest Brown stacked on the flight deck. Sacks of new potatoes and boxes of fresh vegetables are to starboard of the hangar. A vertical format negative.
