The photographer is in the main communications office between 66 and 71 stations on 2 deck looking into the forward port corner showing the senior rating's position with a long carriage Imperial 66 typewriter on his desk. An amplifier and transformers are against the forward bulkhead and a large connection unit is against the port bulkhead. A vertical format negative with a large top to bottom mark, possibly a camera strap in front of the lens.
