An automatic emergency lantern is fixed to a pillar and a workbench with cupboards and drawers under are in the centre. On the left is a horizontal visual display unit. A rating is working on a unit which has a vertical screen above it against the forward bulkhead. To starboard of this unit is a large communications console which is fitted with a dialling ring. Air conditioning vents and headsets are against the starboard bulkhead.
