The photographer is in the lobby between 31 and 34 stations on 3 deck looking forward and to starboard showing the forward Worthington Simpson Ltd Numarine automatic self-priming hull and fire pump on the left with a Nu-Swift fire extinguisher and four spare cartridges next to it. In the centre are the ladder up to 2 deck and the closed watertight hatch leading down to 4 deck. Against the starboard bulkhead are an emergency connection box, an emergency change over switch and connection box, a control box, a fuse panel, emergency cable stowage and a fire hose basket.
