On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the fitting out berth at the West Cowes shipyard of John Samuel White & Co Ltd. The photographer is in the wardroom between 35 and 41 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking aft and to port showing two tables set athwartships with chairs on either side of each one. Four armchairs are facing the electric fire and long settee benches are on either side of the fire. A clock reading 10.56 is above the fireplace. On the right against the port bulkhead are a dresser unit and two letter racks.
