On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the torpedo maintenance compartment between 54¼ and 57 stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking forward and to starboard showing a test bench on the right with a ramp stowage next top it and a combination safe above it. Against the forward bulkhead are a monitor arm indicator lamp, a first aid cabinet, a notice frame and hose stowage brackets. The door to the torpedo stowage compartment is on the left.
