The Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958). The MRS3 director and foremast from 30 station on the starboard side of the roof of the bridge.

On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is looking aft and slightly to port from the starboard side of the roof of the bridge at 30 station showing the gun direction platform in the foreground. The MRS3 director fitted with type 903 radar is trained off the starboard bow. The plated-in formast has the ATZ aerial outfit for the type 978 navigational radar on a projecting platform. The ship is berthed port side to the west wall and the structure in the background is the 250 ton cantilever crane built by William Arrol & Co in 1917 and demolished in 1992.
