On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the GWS 20 missile power room between 47¾ and 51¾ stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking aft and to port showing a workbench with a test cradle on it on the right. Against the port bulkhead are a missile guidance control cabinet, the missile system exercise set and an electrical spares cabinet. On the left is a rectifier and against the aft bulkhead are two 115 volt boxes.
