On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the communications control room (transmitting) (CCR(TX)) between 28 and 31 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft and to starboard from 30 station showing a bench with a CU10 radio remote base control unit and a Thermotank air conditioning unit above it. A fire detection unit is fitted to the ventilation trunk. A transformer is against the starboard bulkhead and above it is an unidentified 500 volts unit fitted with an air filter.
