On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the communications control room (transmitting) (CCR(TX)) between 28 and 31 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking to starboard and up from 29 station showing cabinets 640 No. 1, 640 No. 2 and 640 No. 3 on the right and 640 No. 4 and 640 No. 5 cabinets on the left. Under the deckhead are a number of switches, two telephones, three light fittings and five cable and aerial connections. The door to the room is in the starboard bulkhead.
