On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the weapons electrical office between 32½ and 34 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking to starboard. Against the forward bulkhead are a full height cupboard (described as a B.R. cupboard on Admiralty plan reference 000898918 sheet 1 - NMM reference NPD1629) and a row of coat hooks. Two desks are against the aft bulkhead and an Olivetti 82 typewriter is on one. A double sliding door cupboard and a half-height B.R. cupboard are above the desks. The door to the office has an automatic emergency lantern alongside it.
