On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the operations room between 31¼ and 35½ stations on 1 deck looking aft and slightly to port from near the centreline at 33½ station showing the chart table with shelves below and a booksheld against the aft bulkhead. A decometer indicating unit is above the chart table. A combination safe and a Loran panel are against the aft bulkhead.
