The Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958). In an unidentified office/store, possibly No. 1 naval store between 8 and 12½ stations on 3 deck.
On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in an unidentified office/store which is possibly No. 1 naval store between 8 and 12½ stations on 3 deck. A desk and cupboard unit are against the ship's side. Above the desk is a ledger rack and one of the books is titled 'Weapon systems'. Large boards fitted with bulldog clips containing papers are against the ship's side and the words 'Stores' and 'Requests' are on one of the boards. A rack of drawers has shelves above it. It is believed the photographer is looking aft and to starboard from the forward corner of the store. Negative number N66918 is another view of this area.
