On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is on the GWS 20 seacat missile launcher deck between 54 and 57 stations on 02 deck looking aft and to port showing the launcher trained forward and lowered. One of the missiles can be seen standing on the deck on the right. The ship is berthed port side to the wall and the 250 ton cantilever crane is in the background..
