On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the junior rates' mess between 27 and 31 stations on 3 deck looking aft from the starboard side at 28 station showing three triple tier bunk units and six kit lockers. A change over switch box and a transformer are against the aft bulkhead.
