On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the switchboard room between 11½ and 14 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft and to port from the doorway showing the Crompton Parkinson synchronising selectors panel and the cabinet is equipped with rectifiers, power readout gauges, two small breaker switches, a main breaker arm, emergency connection boxes and generator and busbar indicators.
