On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the main communications office between 32¼ and 35 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking aft into the aft port corner from 33 station showing a full height cupboard with a combination lock and on top of it are some files. A fuse panel, telephone exchange units and a combination safe are on the extreme left. Two radio receiver units are against the aft bulkhead.
