On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, between 25 and 30 stations on 2 deck looking forward from 30 station showing the 4.5 inch gunbay at 25 station. The door to the communications control room (transmitting) is on the port side with an international compressed air breathing apparatus cabinet next to it.
